for a new fiscal year, from April 1 to March 31, main has published its activity report. over the past year, we have reassessed our collaborations and reaffirmed our strategic priorities, and this report reflects a pivotal period for the organization.
some highlights :
a fifth Sommet des accélérateurs
from February 14 to 16, 2024, over 200 support professionals, researchers, companies and support organizations gathered at the Manoir du Lac Delage in the Capitale-Nationale region. Sommet des accélérateurs that we announced the launch of a new initiative to bring together all those involved in supporting innovative companies: the Cercle des professionnels.le.s de l'accompagnement.
momentumPI
With the ambitious goal of supporting close to 1,000 IP interventions that will enable more than 600 startups to develop an IP strategy or implement part of one, the momentumPI service, a product of the ÉleverlaPI program funded by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISDE), has been deployed since September 2023. we are counting on exceptional partners, and the contribution of IP firms, to ensure that the entrepreneurs who benefit from the service are in good hands and receive high-quality support at a fair and reasonable price.

perséis
Following the launch of perséis, a research-society space in innovative and scientific entrepreneurship co-deployed with the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ), a call for proposals was launched in May 2023 to initiate seven federating research projects around priority needs. in addition, Sommet des accélérateurs 2024 will have been an opportunity to host discussion tables to reflect and initiate a co-construction process around issues raised by the ecosystem.
startup continuum
For several years now, thanks to the support of Desjardins, we have been working to set up a support continuum specifically designed to help entrepreneurs make optimal progress with the right support resources. These actions include referrals and the establishment of partnerships with organizations such as Propulsion Québec and INRS.
fundraising training
Front Row Ventures, in collaboration with MAIN and Espace CDPQ, officially launched an online venture capital training course in December 2023, dedicated to coaching organizations and startups. this learning path helps understand the basics of fundraising and how to accompany startups on their journey.
