organize an IP awareness event in Quebec with momentumPI

Intellectual property is a strategic asset for the innovative companies you support. As a reminder of the importance of IP, it is important to raise awareness among entrepreneurs so that they better understand how IP fits into a complete business strategy.

To help you raise awareness among the companies in your network, we've set up a financial support program, as part of momentumPI, to fund up to two IP awareness events, up to a total of $2,000.

We urge you to take part in our call for proposals, so as to reach as many entrepreneurs as possible about the importance of IP for the growth of their business.

eligibility criteria

To ensure that these events reach the targets of our momentumPI service, we have based our selection on four essential criteria:

  1. Raising awareness: The event should help raise awareness of the importance of intellectual property in the development cycle of a young innovative company.
  2. Differentiation: The event is not intended to replace the online training courses offered to entrepreneurs by momentumPI. However, it can complement them.
  3. Community impact: The event must reach a considerable number of entrepreneurs in the community (order of magnitude of 20 to 100 entrepreneurs, depending on the region and event).
  4. Data collection: The event will provide an opportunity to collect data on IP-aware entrepreneurs as part of the mandate given by ISDE (see section "Obligations of the organizers").

Obligations organizers

  1. Offer at least two (2) seats for the MAIN team or its momentumPI representatives at the event
  2. Provide an opportunity for the MAIN team or its momentumPI representatives to express their views.
  3. Partnership recognitionmomentumPI: Organizers should identify momentumPI as an official partner of the event and promote momentumPI training courses as a support resource for entrepreneurs.
    • On-site at the event (verbal mention and on-screen display)
    • In at least three digital communications on two different media (social media, newsletter, etc.).
  4. Post-event report for each event: provide MAIN with the number of entrepreneurs present, collect data on the entrepreneurs present (see template) ,a photo and a momentumPI visibility report in digital communications (statistics, screenshot, URL, etc.).

Events must be completed and invoiced before March 31, 2025.
