Understanding and Innovating Through IP: Check Out the New Podcast Launched by MAIN!
Published on October 22, 2025
It’s no secret: intellectual property (IP) plays a vital role in the success of innovative companies. In this new podcast, MAIN invites you to explore in greater depth how IP can become a true strategic asset for entrepreneurs and the organizations that support them.
This initiative is part of the ÉleverlaPI program, a program funded by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) whose primary objective is to strengthen awareness, understanding, and the strategic use of IP within the Canadian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
In each episode, an IP expert and a support professional will share their advice, anecdotes, and insights from their experience in sectors where IP plays a key role (science-based entrepreneurship, the cultural and creative industries, AI, and many others). The series is hosted by Philippe Richard Bertrand, an entrepreneur, columnist, and author.
The first episode explores scientific entrepreneurship—or how can intellectual property become a true driver of technology commercialization and transfer? For this first episode, we were fortunate to welcome Diana Horqque, Executive Director at V1 Studio, and Jean-Nicolas Delage, Partner at the law firm Osler.
