Innovative Solutions Canada

what: funding of up to $150,000 for the first phase, with the possibility of $1 million to develop a prototype if the project is selected.

for whom: innovative companies in the pre-commercial phase that can be tested in a real-life environment

Innovative Solutions Canada offers both challenge and test components to help companies and SMEs. Innovative Solutions can lead to funding to develop a proof of concept, develop a prototype and possibly even secure a Government of Canada contract as a first-time buyer.

Créavenir

what: line of credit (max. $15,000), business credit card (max. $1,000) and grant (max. $5,000)

for whom: entrepreneurs aged 18 to 39 who are starting up, taking over or have owned a business for less than 3 years.

Créavenir, by Desjardins Entreprises, offers financing to young entrepreneurs who do not have the collateral or downpayment required to obtain conventional financing.

*Note that on the island of Montreal, Créavenir's offer has now been enhanced.

what: loans from $20,000 to $450,000

for whom: start-up, growth or buy-out/buy-in entrepreneurs with an impact project

Evol offers financing to diversified and inclusive impact businesses in the form of conventional loans, accompanied by support tailored to the entrepreneurs' reality.

what: participatory funding campaign with the possibility of additional funding in the form of a grant, loan or subsidy
