Talent Challenges as Experienced by Quebec Companies
The world of work has undergone profound changes in recent years (mass resignations, the widespread adoption of remote work and hybrid work models, etc.). All of these changes contribute to the unpredictability of main movements and a great need for adaptation. Companies are not immune to these changes, but how are they responding to them?

Targeted study on the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean (SLSJ) startup ecosystem
The objective of this targeted study is to expand our understanding of entrepreneurs’ needs, as well as the relationship between the support structures available in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, where the entrepreneurial ecosystem is booming.
This study was conducted in collaboration with Ubisoft, the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean Hub, and some 20 stakeholders involved in the region’s economic development.

As a follow-up to the overview report, this in-depth analysis presents a summary of the findings from nine academic research studies coordinated by main.
The findings from these qualitative and quantitative studies, conducted between 2020 and 2021, are presented under three categories: companies, support providers, and the business ecosystem as a whole.

This overview provides an initial assessment of the current state of knowledge regarding Quebec’s business ecosystem. This report helps identify information gaps between Quebec’s regions in order to guide research directions and data collection efforts for future studies.
